Zohreen Adamjee is a correspondent for ABC News in Los Angeles and a regular contributor to Good Morning America and ABC World News Tonight. She previously worked as an embed reporter for Kamala Harris’s presidential campaign in 2019.
Before working for ABC News, she was a staff reporter for KTTV FOX 11 in Los Angeles. In September 2015, she began working for KTTV as a freelance journalist. In June 2016, she was promoted to staff reporter. She began her on-air career in Bakersfield as a freelance reporter.
Four days later, FOX40′s news director spotted her work and hired her as a reporter for KTXL FOX40 News, where she frequently covered stories from the State Capitol, city hall, a courthouse, a wildfire, or a crime scene. During her first year, she also worked as a morning web/social media producer. She established “Capitol Conversations,” a live 30-minute web broadcast in which she interviewed the state’s top politicians.
She began her professional career as a contributor for the Los Angeles Times. She wrote for their tech blog and persuaded the editors to let her launch latimes.com’s first audio podcast, which would showcase the paper’s most important articles.
