Before developing her passion for weather, Hill was terrified of thunderstorms. Leah is now thrilled to be a member of the KY3 First Alert Weather team.
Besides holding internships throughout college, Leah also served in leadership roles for different the School of Meteorology clubs. Leah worked for the Oklahoma Weather Lab as Vice President, shift leader, as well as a Director of Operations, which is a student-run forecasting organization.
Hill became the top member of the School of Meteorology mentoring program. Served for the School of Meteorology Student Affairs Committee as the senior representative, and became a representative for the OU Student Chapter of the American Meteorological Society.
