The Tom Barnard Show made the announcement that Jeff would launch his own podcast show as a part of the anticipated Tom Barnard podcast network on February 18, 2014. Sean Barnard, the Tom Barnard podcast’s general manager, fired him on March 19, 2014. On his Facebook page, he said that Sean had asked him to submit to a drug test, but he had declined.
His program, suitably titled “The Jeff Dubay Show,” debuted on September 15, 2014, and was also available online as a podcast. Jeff and his producer/sidekick Jason McGovern were on the 60-minute podcast. The podcast followed the same format as Jeff’s past broadcasts. Because it was not regulated by the FCC, the show included a clear disclaimer.
