Jane Garvey is a well-known British radio presenter. As of now, she works as a weekly television columnist for Times Radio since June 2021. Moreover, she is a co-founder of the weekly podcast series called Fortunately since March 2017. Previously, she worked as a presenter of BBC Radio 4’s Woman’s Hour.

Jane was the first voice on BBC Radio 5 Live when it started at 5:00 am on March 28, 1994. Jane was hired as a trainee for an advertising agency, as a medical records clerk in a finance company as well as a receptionist before becoming a promotions assistant for Radio Wyvern.

She unwittingly disclosed an apparent pro-Labour bias at the BBC during a discussion on the tenth anniversary of the Labour Party gaining power in the United Kingdom in May 2007.
